If you are a real and heavy user of Nokia, then you always try different software’s. There is always probability that viruses and other malicious program can attack your mobile phone. Sometimes your mobile gets hang or stall. So, there is always a need for you to reset your phone. There are two type of resetting for Nokia phones:

Normal mode

Deep reset

This article will let you know what are the key combination and outcomes for a certain mode.

<dir></dir>

Normal mode:

The key combination for normal mode is

*#7780#

The main point is what will happen after this? It will simply reset the basic settings of your phone. Just as the screen brightness, security code etc. it does not delete your contacts. It means that through this mode you can reset the ini files and will leave user data intact. It is also called soft reset. This reset can also be done through menu system.

Menu tools settings general factory settings

<dir></dir>

Deep mode:

The key combination for deep mode is as follow

*#7370#

Through this sequence your phone memory gets completely format. It will wipe all the user data from phone memory. It will erase data from c drive of your phone while no data is erased from memory card. PC or MMC card can be use to create backup, which will not be formatted during deep mode.

How to do

These resets are for S60 Smartphone’s. At standby screen dial the respective mode and your mobile will restart after you have accepted restore all phone settings. It will ask for security code, you will enter 12345 (factory default code).

If your mobile phone does not boot up, then you can use three button reset. You will do by steps mentioned below:

<dir></dir>
<dir></dir>

 <dir>Turn off your mobile.</dir>

Press green dial key, star key, three key together and switch on your mobile.

Until you see welcome note, hold the three keys to complete the boot process.

Nokia has launched a new touchscreen phone C5-03. This phone distributed in the market in a lot of handsome colors. This is actually low budget smartphone by Finnish manufacturer. There is also a bad thing I noticed in it and that is this phone still runs on Symbian S60 rather than new Symbian ^3.

Nokia C5-03 prices increased quickly which shows people liked this device. When Nokia announced this phone, the price of the phone was USD 225 (170 Euro) but with short time this phone prices went hight to $290 USD. In my guess retailers are charging too much than it's original prices due to its new launch. However this price expected to reduce in maybe couple of months.

Nokia C5-03 comes with lot of good features. Here is list:

Quad-band GSM / EDGE and tri-band WCDMA (900/1900/2100).

Wi-Fi.

Bluetooth 2.0.

3.2-inch screen 640 x 360.

Symbian ^ 1.

5 megapixel camera.

EDR.

A-GPS.

MicroUSB port.

FM radio (but no FM transmitter).

They can accept MicroSD cards up to 16GB.

Symbian is an operating system used in cellular, this was created by the alliance between corporation several phone companies like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Psion, Samsung, Siemens, Arima, BenQ, Fujitsu, Lenovo, LG, Motorola, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, Sharp, etc.. This operating system was based on its predecessor EPOC3 system that was used in PDAs and Handhelds.

I think this is the operating system that could compete with other operating systems already on the market as the Palms operating system for Windows, Windows Mobile.

It began in 2003 when Nokia buys a percentage of their stake in Motorola on this operating system, which had already been created, after some time I buy a Sony Ericsson half of its actions in this project and in 2008 bought with it being symbian the participation of 52%, after this, in conjunction with Nokia and other corporations agreed to create the Symbian Foundation and to make it an open source project like other programs and open source applications.

At present most of the Nokia phones have this operating system, ie Series 60, supriores and the N series, however the Sony Ericsson operating system used on some Walkman phones that have staff and organization among them are: W960, P800, P802, P910, P990, P1i, P900, W950, G705, G900 and M600i. But other manufacturers of phones that use this operating system are very scarce, for example Motorola uses it in their models: A925, A1000, A1010, Z8, Z10, A920, A728. Another case is the manufacturer Samsung that uses Symbian in their models: SGH-G810, SGH-i450, SGH-i550, SGH-i520, SGH-i560, SGH-i8510, SGH-D720 and SGH-D730. Panasonic only uses it in their X700 and X800 models. Siemens also uses it in his model SX1.

On this operating system, its user interface has five different versions of this operating system, are the series 60, Series 80, Series 90 and Series 40 are the most commonly used for phones from Nokia, UIQ Technology is used in phones like Sony Ericsson is unlike the other version it includes the ability to use touch screens as the property of the machine, applications can be created in C + + and Java and I also can modify their code because it is Open Source.

To install Java and Symbian cell only a must download the file and pass it through USB, if you’re interested in downloading games and applications, I recommend visiting this page (http://www.javasymbian.org/), where you find different programs in Java and Symbian, obviously you have to have some of the brands put more up, and if you have any questions on how to install, go to the forum where there are tutorials for each model. If you want to see it in English you can see it from here (http://symbianapplications.net/) also has very good applications and tutorials for each brand of phone.
