Allow us to combine two platforms into a single mobile device? Could Android system be installed on Nokia Symbian phones Unsurprisingly, using a different system structure?

The mobile application developers in Finland are very concerned about the thought. The developers are then created a project NITDroid, with the main purpose of Android running on Nokia mobile devices. The project did not materialize in a phone but on the Nokia internet tablets.

Terrence Eden, a mobile consultant in the UK, has even been able to install Android on Nokia phones 1.6 Donut N810 hers. Then what?

Android is a software environment that is better for Nokia hardware, compared to that provided by Nokia themselves.

Although there is no support for Google's Market, the Nokia N810 is powered by Android was able to run smoothly. other developers have created a version of Android 2.2 Froyo for Nokia N900 and stable enough run continuously, including to make calls and run Google applications. The weakness was just one, the camera would not start.

Do you want to try as well? please open the installation guide to know Google AnDroid in your Nokia mobile phones. Beware, be careful when you are doing your test. Good luck

Symbian is an operating system used in cellular, this was created by the alliance between corporation several phone companies like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Psion, Samsung, Siemens, Arima, BenQ, Fujitsu, Lenovo, LG, Motorola, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, Sharp, etc.. This operating system was based on its predecessor EPOC3 system that was used in PDAs and Handhelds.

I think this is the operating system that could compete with other operating systems already on the market as the Palms operating system for Windows, Windows Mobile.

It began in 2003 when Nokia buys a percentage of their stake in Motorola on this operating system, which had already been created, after some time I buy a Sony Ericsson half of its actions in this project and in 2008 bought with it being symbian the participation of 52%, after this, in conjunction with Nokia and other corporations agreed to create the Symbian Foundation and to make it an open source project like other programs and open source applications.

At present most of the Nokia phones have this operating system, ie Series 60, supriores and the N series, however the Sony Ericsson operating system used on some Walkman phones that have staff and organization among them are: W960, P800, P802, P910, P990, P1i, P900, W950, G705, G900 and M600i. But other manufacturers of phones that use this operating system are very scarce, for example Motorola uses it in their models: A925, A1000, A1010, Z8, Z10, A920, A728. Another case is the manufacturer Samsung that uses Symbian in their models: SGH-G810, SGH-i450, SGH-i550, SGH-i520, SGH-i560, SGH-i8510, SGH-D720 and SGH-D730. Panasonic only uses it in their X700 and X800 models. Siemens also uses it in his model SX1.

On this operating system, its user interface has five different versions of this operating system, are the series 60, Series 80, Series 90 and Series 40 are the most commonly used for phones from Nokia, UIQ Technology is used in phones like Sony Ericsson is unlike the other version it includes the ability to use touch screens as the property of the machine, applications can be created in C + + and Java and I also can modify their code because it is Open Source.

To install Java and Symbian cell only a must download the file and pass it through USB, if you’re interested in downloading games and applications, I recommend visiting this page (http://www.javasymbian.org/), where you find different programs in Java and Symbian, obviously you have to have some of the brands put more up, and if you have any questions on how to install, go to the forum where there are tutorials for each model. If you want to see it in English you can see it from here (http://symbianapplications.net/) also has very good applications and tutorials for each brand of phone.
