Google buys Motorola 12,500 million U.S. Dollars

Not a just rumor, not a single clue, a closely guarded secret. We just heard that Google acquires 12,500 million dollars ($40 per share) Motorola Mobility, Motorola's mobile division . Already Motorola's 35 to 40 manufactures use google's Android.

Recently Motorola divided into two companies, Motorola Solutions in charge of developing all types of networking solutions (modems , networks, SBC servers, processors etc) and Motorola Mobility which is everything related to mobile phones, this has been acquired by Google.

With this deal Google has the power to develop its own hardware , totally your decision. If Google moves to thrive we can see how reducing the critical issue of Android, such as fragmentation, late updates, etc. Android could be much better integrated with these new mobiles and also save a lot patent issues for Motorola has a large collection of them.

And other manufacturers will not know how manufacturers like HTC, LG, Samsung, etc., used largely to Android. It is clear that this not be bad as Android is free and open and you can always continue installing, it can push them more to get stronger with the union Google, Motorola.

Bing to replace Google as search engine on iPhone

As you know Microsoft Bing is getting popular day by day and it's emerging as a biggest challenge to Google. These days over the internet that Bing will replace Google as as default search engine on iPhone. However there is no confirmation from Apple and Microsoft about this rumor.

But there is also sources who are saying, Mircrosoft and Apple are talking to adding Bing as default search engine on mobile phones. Not sure which one is right, let us wait for more interesting news.

Steve Jobs: Google wants to kill the iPhone

Many peoples are engaging their hands with Google Nexus One, a lot other phone manufacture companies are worrying about this Google phone, is not it too early to talk about it? Perhaps fearing that grow enormously in popularity of this phone, or maybe the logo of the browser in a cell can inhibit many companies.

The fact is that Steve Jobs, Apple CEO is a little nervous about the disposal of the Nexus One, he announced in a meeting some phrases which were somehow controversial about this terminal.

It was at a meeting in Infinite Loops in Concertino, where Jobs threw some verbal points against Google it's device Nexus One. Among other things, that they (Apple) didn't enter the business of search but they do phone business. Make no mistake they (Google) wants to kill iPhone. We won't let them do so. Steve further says that there is no doubt that Google wants to kill the iPhone, but they will not

Its a form of revenge against them for having intruded on their territory? So aggressive is the war between the two? We do not know, but it is too early to draw conclusions.

The FCC has issued some regulations regarding VoIP and the ability to call 911. Because VoIP uses the Internet and not a landline phone, when a call is made to 911 from a VoIP connection, the operator who receives the call receives none of the caller’s pertinent information. This includes address or location of the call. Some service providers do not supply 911 at all; others have what is known as Enhanced 911 services. To use these services you may need to activate your service, as well as register your information with 911. However, you will need to sign a statement when you apply for your VoIP services stating that you understand your 911 capabilities may be limited.
