The Samsung E1105 was announced on February, 2009. It is basically a phone that can be primarily used for texting and calling. The Samsung E1105 is definitely not a phone that can be called hi-tech and is certainly not loaded with tech-savvy functions, however it does fulfill the purpose of a phone: users can text and call easily.
The Samsung E1105 is a general 2G Network GSM 900/1800 phone and it weighs 79g. It is easy to pocket due to its light weight and size dimensions of 106x47x1505mm. Its display type is CSTN which consists of 65K colors. The screen is of 128×128 pixels and is about 1.53 inches in length.
Let me first list the many things that are lacking in this particular phone. To start off with, the Samsung E1105 does not have a card slot, so it’s ditto for any memory storage but as this phone does not have a camera, users do not have to worry about storing any pictures and other kinds of data. Moreover, this phone does not have a USB port and neither does it have any infrared port or Bluetooth connection. To further add to the things that the Samsung E1105 lacks are HSCSD, EDGE, GPS, WLAN, 3G, Java, Data GPRS and radio.
The Samsung E1105 boasts of a number of sound alerts, vibration, MP3 and downloadable polyphonic ringtones along with a speakerphone. The phone also has a memory phonebook which supports up to 200 entries. The call records can hold up to 30 entries each of dialed, received and missed calls. The Samsung E1105 also features SMS and a few games. Furthermore, a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser is also present in the phone along with flashlight, organizer, voice memo, T9 dictionary and mobile tracker. The phone has a standard Li-ion battery and also contains the stand-by option. The Samsung E1105 is currently only available in grey color.
