Google products are getting more and more space in mobile phone market now. Google has recently launched Nexus S phone. Once a user gets this awesome handset, the first plan is to unlock the phone's boot loader which is locked by default. Google Nexus S runs on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread ROM.
To unlock this phone is not something hidden or required any price but the good news is unlocking Nexus S is easy but it would need factory reset of the phone.
- Before you begin, make sure you take the data backup.
- First, make sure you have ABS installed and configured on your computer.
- Once everything is ready, open command prompt and type:
adb bootloader reboot
and press enter. Then excriba
oem fastboot unlock
and press enter
Now once you get unlock bootloader confirmation on the phone, use the volume keys to select "unlock bootloader".
That's it! You now your Nexus S has been Unlocked
